A call for the reminder that cannot slip

A text is easy to miss on a loud job site. With calls set up, CrewBuddy texts the reminder and then calls your own phone with the same words.

Text it like this

Fictional example.

CrewBuddy
You: Text and call me at 7 am Thursday: framing inspection at the Ota job between 8 and 12, someone has to be there.
CrewBuddy: Set for Thursday at 7 am: a text, then a call that says "Framing inspection at the Ota job between 8 and 12. Someone has to be there." I’ll text you a code to approve the call.

Who it calls

Only you, at the phone number your CrewBuddy chat already uses. It cannot call a number written into a request, and it never calls customers, crew or anyone else. Calls work for owners who text CrewBuddy in iMessage.

Limits

You approve every call with a one-time code first. By default calls only go out between 8 AM and 8 PM, three a day at most, and both limits can be changed with us. The text always goes first, so a missed call still leaves the reminder on your phone.

A calling number is needed, and it costs extra. The price is settled with you before calls are switched on.

Good uses

Inspection windows, a delivery you have to meet at the site, a permit that expires at the end of the day, or a walkthrough with a GC. Pick the few reminders that would cost you a day if you missed them, and leave the rest as texts.

Use calls for inspections, deliveries you have to meet and permit deadlines. Everything else is fine as a text.

Set it up once

For the reminder you cannot miss, like an inspection window, CrewBuddy can text you and then call your phone and read it out.
