Queva memory

How Queva remembers.

Queva keeps two kinds of things: the lists and notes you ask it to keep, and what it learns about you so it can talk to you the way you like. Both stay on your server.

Two kinds

Lists are files. Facts are memory.

Lists and notes

Plain files you can open

"Add Rosa to the call-back list." It writes the list to a plain file in a Lists and notes folder on your private page. It reads the file before it tells you what is on a list, and only says "added" after the file says so.

About you

A memory on your server

Facts like your prices, who works with you and how you like your answers go into a memory system that runs on your own server, not a shared cloud service.

See it and fix it

You can read it and erase it

  • The Memory tab on your private page shows the notes it keeps about you. You can read and erase them there.
  • Text it "forget that" or "forget what you know about me" and it erases those notes.
  • To clear the deeper memory store as well, ask us and we clear it.
  • Your lists are plain files. Change or delete them on your private page.

What it will not keep

Some things stay out

Its rules tell it never to store your health, religion, politics, race, immigration status, money details, passwords or any number that identifies you.

Rules lower the risk; they are not a guarantee. If you see something it should not have kept, erase it and tell us.
