Help centerLearning and self Works today
Help me with my phone
Ask your assistant how to do something on your phone. It gives you one step at a time and waits for you.
Works today
Nothing to connect. You only text your assistant.
What to text
How do I take a screenshot on my iPhone? One step at a time.
How do I make the letters bigger on my phone?
How do I block a number that keeps calling me?
How do I send a photo to my daughter?
Something popped up on my screen. What is it? (send a screenshot)
I do not see that button. Here is what I see. (send a screenshot)
Steps
- Say what phone you have. For example: "I have an iPhone."
- Ask your question and add: "One step at a time."
- Do the step. Then text "done" or "ok".
- If your screen looks different, send a screenshot of what you see.
- When it works, ask it to save the steps so you can ask again later.
Example conversation
How do I make the letters bigger? I have an iPhone. One step at a time.
Step 1: open the Settings app. It is the gray icon with a gear. Text me "ok" when it is open.
ok
Step 2: tap Display and Brightness, then Text Size. Slide the dot to the right until the letters look good to you.
Make it stick
- A screenshot is the fastest way to show what you see.
- If a message on your screen asks for money or a password, ask before you tap. See Is this a scam?
What it will not do
It cannot see or touch your phone. It only knows what you tell it and the screenshots you send. Menus change between phones, so a step may look a little different on yours.
Demo notice
During a demo, do not send passwords, card numbers or private customer details. Read the demo rules.
