Keep my orders and deposits

Text each order as it comes in. Your assistant keeps the list: who, what, the deposit, what is still owed, and the pickup day.

Works today

Nothing to connect. You only text your assistant.

What to text

  • New order: Carmen, hem a wedding dress, total 85, she left 40, pickup Friday.

  • What is ready to pick up this week?

  • Who still owes me money?

  • Carmen paid the rest and picked up her dress.

  • Write a text to Rosa that her order is ready and she owes 30.

  • Here is a photo of my order book. Add these to my list.

Steps

  1. Text: "Start an order list for me."
  2. For each order, text the name, the work, the total, the deposit and the pickup day.
  3. Each morning, ask: "What is due today?"
  4. When someone pays or picks up, text it so the list stays right.
  5. Once a week, ask who still owes money, and check it against your own book.

Example conversation

You:

New order: Carmen, hem a wedding dress, total 85, she left 40, pickup Friday.

Your assistant:OrdersCarmen · hem · owes $45 · FriRosa · zipper · owes $30 · ready

Saved. Carmen, wedding dress hem, $85 total, $40 deposit, $45 owed, pickup Friday.

You:

Who still owes me money?

Your assistant:

Two people: Carmen owes $45 and Rosa owes $30. That is $75 in all.

This is an example. The words your assistant uses will be different.

Make it stick

  • Text the order while the customer is still at the counter.
  • Keep your paper book too, until you trust the list.

What it will not do

It does not take payments and it does not text your customers. It keeps the list and writes drafts. It can make a math mistake, so check the totals. Do not text card numbers.

Demo notice

During a demo, do not send passwords, card numbers or private customer details. Read the demo rules.
