Remind me

With reminders turned on, your assistant texts you at the time you choose.

Ask us to turn it on

This is an add-on. It is off until we turn it on for you. To ask for it, text Sam.

Good to know

Reminders and website lookups cannot both be on for the same assistant today. If you already use website lookups, tell Sam and we will help you choose.

You can set these up yourself. Get the app, follow the steps, then copy the prompt.

Copy this prompt and give it to your assistant

    • I cannot miss this: (say what and when). Tell me the exact alarm to set on my phone: the time, which days, and a short label with one small first step.

Your assistant cannot set, change or turn off the alarm. You set it yourself.

What to text

  • Remind me tomorrow at 8 to call the supplier.

  • Remind me every Friday at 4 to send invoices.

  • Remind me on the 1st of each month to pay rent.

  • What reminders do I have?

  • Stop the Friday reminder.

Steps

  1. Text Sam and ask us to turn on reminders. We tell you when it is on.
  2. Text what you want and when. For example: "Remind me tomorrow at 8 to call the supplier."
  3. Read its reply. Check that the day and the time are right.
  4. At that time, your assistant texts you.
  5. To see or stop reminders, text "What reminders do I have?"

Example conversation

You:

Remind me every Friday at 4 to send invoices.

Your assistant:

Okay. I will text you every Friday at 4:00 in the afternoon to send invoices.

Friday, 4:00

Your assistant:

Reminder: send invoices.

This is an example. The words your assistant uses will be different.

Make it stick

  • Keep reminders few. One or two a week get noticed. Ten a day get ignored.
  • Put one small first step in each reminder. "Open the invoice folder" beats "do invoices."
  • If you start to ignore a reminder, stop it or change the time.

What it will not do

Reminders go to you only. It does not text your customers or your family. A reminder text can be missed or late, so do not make it your only alarm for medicine or anything urgent. Without this add-on, your assistant only answers when you text it.

Demo notice

During a demo, do not send passwords, card numbers or private customer details. Read the demo rules.
