Write a social post

You tell your assistant what happened at your business this week, and it drafts posts for you to share.

Works today

Nothing to connect. You only text your assistant.

A free app to cut a short video of your work and add words on screen.

    2. In CapCut, open your video and trim it.
    3. Add text and paste the lines from your assistant.
    4. Export the video and post it yourself with the caption.

Copy this prompt and give it to your assistant

    • I have a 20 second video of (say what it shows). Write 3 short lines of on-screen text, 5 words or less each, and a caption under 40 words.

Your assistant does not edit the video. It only writes the words. Some CapCut effects need a paid plan.

What to text

  • Write a short Facebook post. We finished a deck this week and the family loved it.

  • Here is a photo of a cake I made. Write 3 short captions for it.

  • Write a post that says we are closed on Monday for the holiday.

  • Give me 5 post ideas for a small landscaping business in spring.

  • Make it sound less like an ad and more like me.

  • Write it in English and in Spanish.

Steps

  1. Text something real from your week: a job you finished, a tip, a change in hours.
  2. Say where it is going, like Facebook or Instagram, and how long you want it.
  3. Send a photo if you have one. Make sure you have the customer's okay to share it.
  4. Read the drafts. Pick one and ask for changes.
  5. Copy it and post it yourself.

Example conversation

You:Photo: a birthday cake with blue frosting

Write 3 short captions for it.

Your assistant:

Three captions:
1. "Blue skies and birthday wishes. Made this one for a 6 year old who loves the ocean."
2. "Fresh out of the kitchen this morning."
3. "Got a birthday coming up? Message us to order."

You:

Number 3, but friendlier.

Your assistant:

"Is a birthday coming up? We would love to bake for you. Send us a message."

This is an example. The words your assistant uses will be different.

Make it stick

  • Feed it real things. Keep a note during the week of what happened, then text it all on Friday.
  • Change a few words so it sounds like you. Posts that sound like everyone else get skipped.

What it will not do

It does not post for you and does not connect to your social accounts. It writes the words. You post them.

Demo notice

During a demo, do not send passwords, card numbers or private customer details. Read the demo rules.
